Job Description

Uber’s Brand team is looking for an outstanding and highly-motivated candidate to develop strategy for, manage and produce a wide variety of event programs, spanning multiple event disciplines.


As a Brand Event Producer, you are a self-starter who needs little direction. You possess sound business judgment, excellent creative instincts, strong communication skills and an analytical mindset. You bring innovative ideas to the table and problem-solving is part of your DNA.


As a Brand Event Producer, you will partner with internal teams, directly owning event strategy, management and operations. The best fit for this role is someone with compelling strategic recommendations, exceptional project management skills and deep experience in managing complicated and fast-paced, end-to-end event processes. You will be very comfortable developing and producing programs that require collaborating with cross-functional internal stakeholders; communicating with executives; and managing external partners.

Qualifications & Requirements


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on large scale events; Tech industry experience preferred
  • Ability to think strategically, and ensure event activities support business goals.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, work independently, problem solve, improvise, and function as part of a team that must perform under pressure.
  • Adept at cultivating internal relationships, communicating with senior leaders, and managing external partners and vendors.
  • A “driver” personality: You’re biased toward action, a great collaborator and master simplifier. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery
  • Strong ability to build project plans and budgets
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to details.
  • Experienced with details and logistics on a global level for to support our client’s learning journey
  • Grittiness: You are equal parts planner and doer- will go above and beyond to meet hard deadlines and ensure an excellent attendee experience. You are resourceful when others give up.
  • Ensure that our processes are scalable and allow for a deep understanding of what worked and what could be improved. Post-mortems and ROI analysis enthusiasts welcomed!
  • Demonstration excitement and creativity to navigate the puzzle of event creation and production
  • Demonstrate business and financial acumen to make strategic decisions, engage in negotiations, evaluate issues and propose solutions.
