About the Role
Uber’s Client Platform Engineering team is building the software and systems that enable Uber employees to deploy quickly and scale seamlessly in offices around the world. You will be responsible for writing and supporting our global endpoint framework using Chef. Your role will consist of making critical business decisions to scale our internal systems, and guide our configuration management strategy as we move from closed to open source tools. This position will require strong infrastructure skills and a broad knowledge of IT best practices and technology.
As a Client Platform Engineer on the Tech Services Team, you will be instrumental in defining, executing and maintaining the hardware and software standards for Uber employees worldwide. Your engineering skills will contribute to a client platform that is extremely efficient, scalable and reliable.
