Job Description

About the Role

 

As an APACx Claims Advocate, you will investigate reports of accidents and/or incidents that occur throughout the region. While providing a white glove customer service experience, you will work with our third-party business partners. In collaboration with regional leadership, our advocates get the opportunity to establish action plans based on case facts, standard methodologies, protocols, regulatory issues and available resources.

What You'll Do

  • Manage an inventory of claims to evaluate covered losses and liability exposure.
  • Investigate new claims by reviewing first reports of loss
  • Communicate effectively with claimants, drivers, passengers, witnesses, etc.
  • Advocate on behalf of claimants
  • Provide white glove customer service

 

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with handling liability claims
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Effective analytical skills to gather information, analyze facts and make recommendations

 

Bonus Points If

 

  • Professional capability in other Asian languages a plus, especially Bahasa, Thai, or Vietnamese.
  • Experience with auto liability

Our Regional Safety and Insurance team is responsible for establishing Uber as a reliable and safe option while ensuring users trust our deep commitment to their safety.  An advocate on this team has the ability to not only work cross-functionally but also positively impact the lives of our customers. In collaboration with insurance regulators around the region, our team is consistently finding new ways to provide riders, drivers and eaters with unwavering support.
