Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with department leads to resolve departmental seating needs.
  • Analyze key workplace operations, security and events metrics to figure out critical metrics; this will include conference room usage, incident reports, and Envoy guests.
  • Prepare capital project and operating budget and variance reports.
  • Handle multiple projects and daily activities, meet deadlines and develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals.
  • Communicate logistics and process to employees and craft a welcoming experience for all new employees.
  • Work cross functionally to build and handle relationships with Legal, Finance, IT, Corp Ops, Design, and our Office teams.
  • Manage and develop full-time employees while leading numerous contracted service providers including facilities services.
  • Develop and be responsible for the preventative maintenance program for building systems including but not limited to MEP and commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Help to develop, set and track budgets.
  • Motivate, mentor, and provide direction to all Facilities associates; help them achieve their goals and make a consistent effort to go above and beyond.
  • Manage day-to-day running of all Uber ATG locations including Workplace Safety, Health and Wellness.
  • Responsible for the implementation of security initiatives and standard operating procedures that fall within the program.
  • Build general Facilities structure and implement processes.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver goods and services against contracts and expectations.
  • Lead planning, developing, and implementing departmental moves to include workstation re-configurations and adjustments.
  • Assist with regular maintenance and general upkeep throughout the facility to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum 10 years of Facilities experience, including extensive experience with property leases.
  • 5+ years experience direct supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience with employee moves and relocations.
  • Proven track record of developing innovative security processes, procedures and training.
  • Experience hiring and developing an Operations team.
  • Experience managing and evaluating employees.
  • Experience coordinating projects and build-outs.
  • Ability to multitask and execute in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify root causes.
  • Working knowledge of medium-large company workplace Operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting project teams to ensure timely accomplishment of project objectives.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Drive.
  • Previous experience in strategic planning, architecture and/or design for corporate headquarters and campuses on national or international level.
  • Former experience selecting and working with Realtors, Architects, Designers, IT, AV, and Property Managers.
  • Eye for design and aesthetics as well as the functionality and efficiency of workplace spaces.
