ABOUT THE ROLE

 

We are looking for a Regional Operations Manager - Restaurant Onboarding to lead our restaurants onboarding experience in APAC. This person will be the authority of the onboarding flow and be responsible for the success metrics (cost, quality, and speed) and would drive initiatives to optimize the process. The role involves working closely with city, Product, Legal, HQ Ops Excellence, BD and Community Operations teams to improve and roll out regional initiatives related to restaurant operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Big ideas. We are looking for people that can think outside of the box and swim upstream
  • Onboarding Processes. Design, implement and automate conversion campaigns and processes to help restaurants achieve their first delivery on the platform in a minimum timeframe and at minimum costs
  • Develop Gold Standards for the region and share with city teams the best practices
  • Analytics. Analysis of our onboarding processes and costs to drive efficient and cost-effective growth of restaurants on our platform
  • Strategy. Decide which projects the team should focus on and set a daring timeline to reach goals
  • Execution. Lead the execution process and be responsible for the rollout schedule of new related product features and regional initiatives
  • Product. Become the Regional POC for relevant HQ product teams to enthusiastically search for new features which could improve the restaurant onboarding experience by presenting data driven cases for changes
  • Accountability. This is a highly hands on, operational team with a regional scope. Take ownership of UberEverything's growth in the region and do what’s needed to get the job done


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 3 - 4 years of experience working in a high growth and dynamic environment. If you think your background brings something to the table, we want to hear from you!
  • Data-driven and creative problem solving - sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking and experimentation
  • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to juggle many responsibilities at once, adept at weighing importance of quick wins vs. long-term progress
  • Ability to work cross-functionally - you’ll interact regularly with city ops, OX team, product and engineering to get your job done
  • Eagerness to roll up your sleeves and dig-in to the grittiness of operations problems - ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and presenting data to various audiences - ability to translate quantitative findings into action plans
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • SQL / HTML knowledge a plus, but not required
