ABOUT THE ROLE

 

UberEATS is starting to sign deals with some major players in retail, grocery and food. The Regional Operations Manager - Enterprise is the primary owner of launching, scaling, and optimizing operations to enable these partners to be a major contributor to the overall UET business in the region.

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Act as the primary interface between the UET Biz Dev and city operations teams in APAC to determine the structure, management and launch plans for enterprise partners
  • Work closely with the UberEATS (UET) Biz Dev team to ensure operations considerations are represented during deal negotiations and reviews. You are expected to step in to drive the negotiation if needed
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Eng, BD, Marketing, Tax, Legal to identify and prioritize operational-specific product requirements for our partners
  • Create, manage, and execute scalable processes that will ensure our partners can launch and grow at Uber-speed. For example, you’ll be thinking about —
  • Launch & Scale: How do we launch 1,000 restaurants with the same effort (or less) than launching and growing one?
  • Optimize: How do we ensure our partners build and maintain efficient processes to ultimately improve our processes and efficiency?
  • Innovate: How can we use enterprise partners to build new tools, processes, and products that change the way we run UET as a whole?


WHAT YOU NEED

  • 3 - 4 years of experience working in a high growth and dynamic environment. If you think your background brings something to the table, we want to hear from you!
    Strong relationship management - you’ll spend a lot of time working with external partners and their ops teams to successfully launch and scale these partnership (ex-consulting or client management experience a plus)
  • Creative problem solving - we’re building the foundation of how national and global partners exist in the UET world and that means combining what we’ve already learnt with solving new problems from scratch
  • Ability to work cross-functionally - you’ll interact daily with Biz Dev, city ops, other HQ team members, product and engineering to get your job done
  • A comfort level of delivering material for both internal and external stakeholders - This means building quick and dirty reports, as well as creating and presenting polished executive level presentations
  • Eagerness to roll up your sleeves and dig-in to the grittiness of operations problems - McDonald’s franchisee has a missing payment or a bad courier experience? No problem
