Job Description

About The Role

 

UberEATS is seeking a resourceful and driven Sales Trainer to craft our learning strategy and implement our sales development initiatives with our sales teams in North America. The ideal candidate is empathetic, data-driven, and a self-starter - you do not shy away from rolling up your sleeves, slicing and dicing sets of information, and working with our team to build solutions to problems that have not been tackled yet. This is a role central to our sales growth and effectiveness in our North American cities, based in San Francisco.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Leverage data to identify needs and formulate a learning strategy that aligns with company and business goals
  • Implement learning development solutions through cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Create learning content, modules, and curriculums for instructor led training and virtual training
  • Deliver and execute training initiatives with sales reps and sales managers across North America and Canada
  • Serve as a sales coach and mentor to the sales organization
  • Improves training effectiveness by implementing new approaches and techniques

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • Minimum 4 years professional experience working cross-functionally with sales, sales leadership, sales systems, or sales operations
  • Experience in a transactional sales organization is a plus
  • Experience conducting classroom style training and virtual training
  • Proven success of owning a full training program end to end and able to identify areas of opportunities
  • Experience crafting and successfully delivering a training program
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to motivate, engage, and influence others through content and presentations
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong desire to take initiative; thrive on change and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative feedback
  • Strong references from former employers and business partners; passion for building relationships
  • Ability to travel 25-50%
