About the Role

 

As Head of Brand Marketing you will help bolster Uber’s brand presence and attract new riders and drivers through exciting and innovative marketing campaigns. As the leader of our APAC Brand and Campaigns team, you will have the opportunity to shape and deliver region wide marketing strategy to build talk-ability and broad usage of Uber among millions of consumers in the region.

What you’ll do

 

  • Be responsible for the development and definition of the Uber brand across APAC.
  • Lead creative development of large scale campaigns across the region.
  • Define and implement a framework to identify and prioritise strategies across the region for both rider and driver marketing
  • Be a key marketing leader and devise short and long-term strategies to grow Uber in key cities across APAC
  • Work with research teams to identify actionable insights to inform product and marketing strategy (e.g. user and competitive research)
  • Drive marketing strategy to achieve city business goals (e.g. set goals, define positioning, etc)
  • Drive go to market strategy and planning for new Uber product, campaigns and international launches
  • Lead large scale regional campaigns and co-develop high impact local campaigns
  • Manage a high performing team of brand managers.
  • Build capability with local teams on marketing strategy, campaign briefs and reports

 

What you’ll need

 

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with a proven track record of highly successful consumer and brand marketing leadership
  • A passion for people and building high performing teams.
  • A strong track record in consumer marketing with a mix of digital, offline and BTL experience
  • A strong track record of working with creative partners and external agencies.
  • Ability to develop strategy and business plans.
  • An ability to effectively provide input on creative development from a local market perspective without compromising on the speed of execution.
  • Knowledge of the digital and mobile app landscape across APAC
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across multiple teams
  • A great passion for consumers and consumer experiences
  • A demonstrated ability to utilize consumer research and data to drive actionable insights and improve the consumer experience

 

About the team

 

The Regional Brand and Campaigns team works to define strategic brand initiatives that are deployed across geographies. By collaborating cross-functionally they develop experiences and integrated campaigns that are rooted in insights, memorable and measurable.  While providing support to in country teams through cyclical planning, our team is able to build strategy and execute high impact regional campaigns.
