Job Description

UberEATS is seeking a Regional Operations Manager - Special Projects to identify and drive innovative big-bets across all sides of the EATS marketplace. In this role, you will craft, communicate and execute a strategy to advance these initiatives, leveraging available data as much as possible to inform and articulate your choices. You will also have to partner effectively with stakeholders across EATS to bring your vision to life.

What You’ll Do

 

As a part of the team, your work will span three buckets:

  • Business strategy: Working closely with senior executives across functions to identify and prioritize new initiatives
  • Knowledge & Insights: Using your analytical skills and business acumen to build a robust business case for each initiative
  • Operational Execution: Collaborating with teams (product, operations, marketing etc) to run experiments and owning the initiatives through to completion

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity or strategy/business operations/analytics roles in tech companies
  • Highly analytical and data driven
  • Practical business sense with the ability to execute upon strategic initiatives
  • Comfort with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a rapidly evolving business landscape
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues and detailed analysis
  • Strong relationship-building skills and experience working with senior executives
  • Bachelor's degree
