About the role

 

You’ll be tasked with conceptualizing, writing, editing, deploying, and analyzing the performance of our communications with riders and drivers across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. You will be comfortable in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment and able to operate and coordinate across multiple teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Conceptualize, write, edit, and deploy email, blog, social, and in-app content. This includes rider communications (such as campaigns, partnership announcements, activations, app education, and promos), and driver communications (including weekly and quarterly newsletters, regulatory information, informational and product landing pages, and community events)
  • Ensure content is clear, concise, and written with our rider and driver audiences in mind
  • Be a diligent and dedicated brand steward, ensuring that all outgoing comms and content meet our standards, guidelines, and exude the appropriate brand personality and tone across all marketing channels
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of content-driven campaigns (using relevant monitoring and A/B testing tools) and effectively tweak approach and content, based on results
  • Develop cohorting and targeting strategies for content campaigns to reach the right audiences at the right times
  • Track and report on KPIs on a regular cadence, making recommendations for content optimization
  • Work closely with the Campaigns, Partnerships, and Community Engagement teams to produce content, communication strategies, and audience development plans for the market’s most important marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (Operations, Product, Policy, Legal) to ensure messaging is relevant and impactful
  • Develop relationships and leverage learnings with our marketing counterparts around the world

 

What You’ll Need

  • At least three years of experience in content creation, analytics and optimization at a brand, agency, or publisher
  • Expert-level writing and editing capabilities with the ability to write for different audiences
  • An established track record managing successful content campaigns, from ideation and production to analysis and optimization
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the proven ability to work across and support multiple teams throughout the content creation process
  • Experience making data-driven marketing decisions, using A/B testing and other methods of analysis
  • Proven ability to work well and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinker who is not afraid to experiment and who has an eye for detail and design
  • Comfort with HTML and ability to navigate various CMSs
