Job Description

About the Role

As part of our Uber for Business Marketing team, you will help set the positioning and craft the voice of the Uber for Business brand in all marketing materials for riders and administrators across the region. We are looking for a person who is passionate about understanding consumer behaviour and will help grow the current pace of growth by ensuring that we are effectively messaging our customers in a way that deepens engagement and drives business metrics.

 

The role offers a meaningful intersection of consumer insights, campaign planning, creative execution, analytics, and technology experience.

What You'll Do

  • Own planning, deployment and business readiness processes for the customer marketing campaign portfolio.
  • Own and drive customer marketing campaigns across multiple customer segments (large enterprise, mid-market, SME/SMBs) to drive core business metrics including usage and revenue.
  • Help develop CRM and customer marketing strategies across email communication, in-app messaging, push notifications, SMS, and other online/offline channels in the region.
  • Research and understand the customer journey (rider + administrator) for Uber for Business to make recommendations about the appropriate communications strategies for each touch point
  • Continuously test new targeting approaches to advance learning and results. Communicate customer insights, campaign results and CRM roadmap to broader Uber for Business teams. Track KPIs and report effectiveness of campaigns on a regular cadence
  • Contribute to localization process, adhering to brand guidelines to ensure consistency across cities and countries.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (marketing, operations, product, policy, legal) teams to ensure messaging is relevant and impactful

What You'll Need

  • At least three years of customer marketing experience in a productive, high-growth environment
  • In-depth experience in CRM & customer marketing strategy, contact strategy, test design, program measurement and analysis. High level technical understanding of the technologies associated with the role, namely email automation and CRM platforms
  • Outstanding project management and written communication skills are essential
  • Additional experience with multiple marketing channels (paid, social, in-app marketing, etc) with an eye for creative excellence preferred
  • Ability to balance an intense attention to detail with swift execution. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starting attitude—ready to seize opportunities to make an impact without needing to be told
  • Strong team orientation and proven collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree with high academics or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
