About the Role

 

The Uber Eats Onboarding Manager is a unique opportunity to own an important centralized vertical within the Uber Eats business - restaurant activation. The team lead is responsible for managing a team of 4-6, as well as building new tools and processes to scale. It requires someone who's not afraid of being in the weeds and fine tuning even the most specific of details. We're looking for someone who has that mix of operational abilities to get stuff done, as well as someone with the emotional intelligence to manage people and interact with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

What You'll Do

 

  • Manage a team of account activation specialists who are in charge of executing the restaurant on boarding process (e.g. setting up system profiles, uploading photography, creating the menu the restaurant will show in the app etc.)
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of your team and ensure timely task completion
  • Streamline and innovate on existed processes in order to increase per person productivity
  • Work with Sales Managers across the Southeast to improve hand off from Sales to Account Management
  • Work with Account Management Managers across the Southeast to improve reporting tools and process transparency
  • Challenge all existing processes and continue to iterate on existing tools

  • People management experience
  • At least 3 years of work experience
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with well-defined goals, but ambiguity on how to get there
  • You are a logical thinker, who naturally looks to create efficient processes where there are none
  • You are self-driven and a great team player
  • You are tech savvy
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented
